What is Endolift?
Endolift is a minimally invasive outpatient laser procedure used in endo-tissutal (interstitial) aesthetic medicine. Endolift is a scalpel , scar, and pain free treatment that allows for a boost in skin restructuring and reduction in cutaneous laxity. It is the result of the most advanced technological and medical research focused on achieving surgical lifting procedure results but without the downsides proper to traditional surgery such as longer recovery time and a higher rate of surgical side effects .
Endolft is a minimally invasive interstitial laser lifting treatment performed with a wavelength of 1470 nm – through microfibers as thin as a hair (200 or 300 microns) that can enter the skin without incisions and be pushed with the selective lipolytic and photobiomodulating waves. While passing through the dermis, these microfibers act as an intradermal light path and transmit radiating N.IR waves to:
- correct mild sagging on the face, neck, arms
- contour and tighten the skin
- activate new collagen formation
- activate the metabolic functions of the extracellular matrix
- increase the heat and stimulate vascularization
- reduce the lymph and adipose tissue
- induce a lipolysis reaction
- reduce under eye bags without surgery
What is ENDOLIFT laser treatment for?
Endolift is performed by specific single-use micro optical fibers, a bit thinner than a hair (FTF Eufoton), which are easily inserted under the skin into the superficial hypodermis. The main cause of Endolift is to promote skin tightening. In other words, the retraction and reduction of skin laxity due to the activation of neocollagenesis and of metabolic functions in the extra cellular matrix. The tightening of the skin caused by Endolift is due to the laser beam that selectively targets two areas, water and fat. The purpose of this treatment includes :
- Remodeling of both deep and superficial layers of the skin
- Immediate and medium to long-term tissue toning of the treated area, due to the synthesis of new collagen. (The treated area continues to redefine and improve its texture months after treatment.)
- Retraction of connective septum
- Stimulation of collagen production and the reduction of excessive fat
Which areas can be treated by ENDOLIFT?
Endolift remodels the entire face: corrects mild sagging of the skin and fat accumulations on the lower third of the face (double chin, cheeks, mouth, jaw line) and neck beyond correcting the skin laxity of the lower eyelid.
The laser-induced selective heat melts the fat, which spills from the microscopic holes in the treated areaand simultaneously causes immediate skin retraction. Moreover, in reference to the body, there are several areas that can be treated: gluteus, knees, periumbilical area, inner thigh, and ankles.
How long does the procedure last?
It depends on how many parts of the face (or body) are to be treated. Nonetheless, it starts at 5 minutes for just one part of the face (for example, neck wattle) up to half an hour for the entire face. The procedure does not require incisions or anesthesia and does not cause pain. No recovery time is required which makes it possible to return to normal activities and occupations within a few hours post-treatment.
How long do the results last?
As with all procedures in all medical fields, the response and the duration of the treatment depend on each patient’s condition. If the physician deems it necessary Endolift can be repeated.
What are the advantages of this innovative treatment?
- Minimally invasive
- Solee treatment
- Minimal or no post-operative recovery time
- No incisions
- No bleeding
- No hematomas
When will I see results?
The results are immediately visible and continue to improve over several months post-treatment. The results are best shown upon 6 months post-surgery. The results are not only immediate and long term but continue to improve for several months as additional collagen builds in the deep layers of the skin. As with all procedures in cosmetic treatments, the response and the duration of the results depend on each patient. Endolift can be repreated in the case that the physician deems it as necessary.
How many treatments are needed?
The procdure can be repeated in the case of incomplete results within the first 12 months. All medical results depend on the previous medical conditions of the patient. Age, state of health, and gender, can influence the outcome and the success of a medical procedure.
